Back to the future

If I had gone to a fortune teller to find out what our Christmas vacation would be like, I suppose it would've gone like this:
"I have some good news, and some bad. Here's the bad first: After you board the airplane in Philly, an incoming plane will crash and shut down the entire airport. You and your wiggly 2 year old will sit on the runway for 3 hours before you begin your 5 hour flight. Once you get to Utah, Josie will be sick with a cold. The day she feels a little better, she'll catch the stomach flu that will spread through numerous households of loved ones. The day she gets better from that, she'll catch another coughy cold that will last another 2 1/2 weeks.
Now for the good news! No matter how hard airports, colds and flus try, they can't ruin the wonderful vacation you have ahead of you. Josie will be in heaven with new toys galore, snow, doting grandparents and aunts and uncles, dogs, cats, and best of all, cousins!!! You will be in heaven with plenty of babysitting on hand, movies with sisters, lunches with bestest friends, dates with Benny, and a little relief from morning sickness! Some highlights will include: The annual Santa Party at Sissy's, sledding with grandpa and tea parties with Omie, making sugar cookies with Nanny and Mia, visiting Grandpa Joe's animal circus, banging pots and pans with little cousins, and meeting our Jazzy favorite Kyle Korver.

*I didn't take any pics on our trip - so enjoy this one for now, until I finish stealing the rest of our Christmas pics from my family's blogs. xoxo.
